Computer controlled production

AB SEGERFRÖJD production uses a patented, unique welding method to join the plastic sheets. The method has been in development for several years and is protected by patents in Europe and USA. The welding method is the main key to the joint strength and the air-tightness of the heat exchanger core.

The manufacturing process is computer controlled, to assure a high and uniform quality. The process characteristics for each core are logged in a database and each core is given an unique serial number to allow tracing. The cores are also manually inspected, to ensure that they are 100% air-tight.

ISO 9001:2000

Since 2000, AB SEGERFRÖJD Production is developing a new quality management system. This involves both the production and the administrative routines. The quality system is developed according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard; the objective is to get certified during the year of 2002.

The MonoBlock™ manufacturing method is protected by patents in many countries worldwide.  For instance, no 93904437.6 in Europe and no 5474639 in USA.
