MonoBlock™

The MonoBlock™ heat exchanger is built-up of extruded polypropylene (PP) sheets. The PP-sheets are welded together using our patented welding method, enabling air-tight joints.

 

 

MonoBlock™ is available in pure cross flow and counter flow arrangements. The pure cross flow heat exchanger can be combined in one or multiple stages, taking advantageous counter flow effects into account.

 

 

Warranty

AB SEGERFRÖJD Compounds leaves a five-year (5) warranty of the heat exchanger core regarding design and material, beginning at the date of delivery and no later than 7 days after dispatch from our factory.

Standard dimensions:

   200x200xH mm  C/M/L

   300x300xH mm  C/M/L

   500x500xH mm  C/M/L

The height, H, is optional between 100 to 500 mm.

The internal spacings are available in C=close, M=medium and L=Large dimensions.

The standard range only comprises quadratic cross flow heat exchangers.

 

Customised and optimised MonoBlock™ heat exchangers are also available in any dimension and shape ranging from 100x100x100 mm up to 1200x 1200x1000 mm on request.

 

Material options:

   PP co-polymer

   PP flame retardant UL V-0

Temperature range from -40ºC (static use) to +90ºC.

Life expectancy is more than 10 years.

 

Weight per volume ratio: about 100kg/m2 or approx. 30-50% of an aluminium heat exchanger

 

Compactness (area/volume):

max 250 m2/m3

 

Heat recovery efficiency for our cross flow heat exchangers:

   dry       up to 65%

   humid   up to 80%

 

Pressure drop: 10-400 Pa

100% Recyclable

AB SEGERFRÖJD Compounds is focused on the development of state-of-the- art polymer heat exchangers. The patented welding process enables us to build 100% air-tight heat exchanger cores of 100% polypropylene, i.e. no glue or sealing compounds are required. This product is called "MonoBlock™" to remind you that there is only one single material in the product. This makes the product completely recyclable.
