Compounds have a defined working process 

SEGERFRÖJD Compounds works after a predefined scheme in close relation to our sister companies, SEGERFRÖJD Engineering and SEGERFRÖJD Production. This work process helps us to develop new customised heat exchanger solutions of polypropylene in a fast and efficient way. 

 

Our intention is to always provide our customers with the best heat exchanger solution for their specific application. This is an important part of our work to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification.

 

We have noticed that it is of great importance that we cooperate with our customers from an stage of their projects in order to find the best possible solution. The best solution is not always the best performance of the heat exchangers even if it often tends to be that way. Our MonoBlock™ heat exchanger comes with a number of advantages; 5-years warranty, air-tight design, low weight, recyclable and low life cycle cost (LCC).

 

 

Customised solutions

SEGERFRÖJD Compounds uses a predefined work process, that is illustrated in the figure below, to develop new customised heat exchanger solutions of polypropylene.

The design process starts with two intensive days when we have close contact with our customer. During this time we present the first prototype design together with a price indication for estimated annual production. At this stage the customer can choose to accept the prototype design proposal and continue with manufacturing of the prototype test series or to further optimise the design. The manufacturing of prototypes and volume productions is handled by our sister company AB SEGERFRÖJD Production. Further development of the design and solutions to more complex systems are made by AB SEGERFRÖJD Engineering, also a sister company to Compounds. 

 

 

Rapid Prototyping

Rapid prototyping is our lead star. We always focus our resources on every new challenge, thus we are able to deliver a prototype within 2 weeks from the date of order.

 

Optimised design

Our field of expertise is to provide clients with flexible and customer optimised solutions. This means that the designer has an increased flexibility in all three (3) dimensions to implement the heat exchangers into OEM- systems according to existing requirements and needs regarding dimensions, pressure drop and thermal efficiency. In addition, the shape may be customised to a non-rectangular form in order to take advantage of a limited allowable design volume.
