Our patented concept "The MonoBlock™ Heat Exchanger" is a competitive choice for industrial applications such as; heat recovery, pre-heating, humidification, condensation, cooling and dryers. The MonoBlock polypropylene heat exchanger is well suited for any low temperature heat recovery or cooling application.

MonoBlock™

The MonoBlock™ recuperative heat exchanger is built-up of extruded polypropylene (PP) sheets. The PP-sheets are welded together with our patented welding method, enabling 100% air-tight joints.

 

 

MonoBlock™ is available in pure cross flow and counter flow. The pure cross flow heat exchanger can be combined in one or multiple stages taking advantageous counter flow effects into account.

 

 

Air-tight Design

There are several important advantages with our air-tight joining method, namely;

  • No contamination

  • No adhesives or solvents

  • First-rate joint strength

  • Excellent long-term behavior

 

Rapid Prototyping

Rapid prototyping is our lead star. We always focus our resources on every new challenge, thus we normally manage to deliver a prototype within 2 weeks from the date of order.

 

 

 

 

Flame retardant option, UL V-0

Basically the heat exchanger core is manufactured of standard polypropylene plastic material, at larger series the heat exchanger may also be obtained in flame retardant material, fulfilling Underwriters Laboratories requirements for UL V-0 rate (old notation UL94 -V0). Our product, the MonoBlock™ heat exchanger, is certified by Underwriters Laboratories, USA.

Maximum temperature of use is 90 °C (the structural strength of the material is lowered at temperatures above this limit).
