Urban Landis the magazine of theUrban Land Institute(ULI), first published in 1941. We publish four print editions per year, plus online articles nearly every business day. With this online edition, our goal is to give you:

  • Timely, succinct and useful information from ULI
  • Specific stories and examples, told in more people’s voices
  • Information from your peers and colleagues in real estate & land use
  • Perspectives on today’s issues and topics that you don’t get anywhere else

Sibley has more than 15 years in the commercial real estate industry as a journalist and editor. She served as editor in chief of Bisnow Media from 2010 to 2016, where she built and led one of the first all-digital virtual newsrooms. Before that, she was managing editor of National Real Estate Investor magazine, from 2005 through 2010. Sibley is also the author of several books, includingPortrait of an American Businessman: One Generation from Cotton Field to Boardroomthe memoir of Carl Ware, The Coca-Cola Company’s first Black group president and the architect of the company’s tide-changing disinvestment in apartheid South Africa.
